Chapter event: "Choice of Control Group in Clinical Trials"

Barbara Lightfoot, the immediate past president of the Indiana AMWA chapter and an associate consultant in scientific communications at Eli Lilly and Company, will give a dinner presentation on the choice of control groups in clinical trials on Thursday, January 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.

The presentation will focus on how to select a control group for a clinical trial, the advantages and disadvantages that are associated with each type of control group,  and some of the ethical issues to consider when using a particular control group.

This free educational event is sponsored by the Indiana AMWA chapter and will be held at the Milano Inn at 231 S College Ave in Indianapolis. All medical communicators are welcome to attend, even if you're not a member of the chapter.
