Volunteer opportunities are available in a variety of departments within AMWA. We welcome members with all levels of expertise, professionals from all general and specialty areas, and all who are simply interested in helping support AMWA's ongoing growth and development.

While there are many personal and professional reasons to volunteer for AMWA, there are only two requirements. You must be an AMWA member and you must have an interest in volunteering. Please submit your AMWA Volunteer Interest Form as soon as possible to have your talent, experience, and passion for medical writing considered for the AMWA volunteer team.

If you would like to lead or co-lead a credit workshop, ask Shari to put you in touch with AMWA's Education Committee administrator. Tell the administrator what you want to be (leader or co-leader) and what subject you want to teach, and send her/him your CV. The administrator will then take your request to the Education Committee for approval. If you propose to start a new credit workshop, you may be asked to first teach your subject a few times as a noncredit workshop or breakfast roundtable. Then, if your students like your presentation, the committee will approve your new credit workshop.
