Welcome! You've arrived at the home page of the Indiana chapter of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). More than 5,000 biomedical communicators in the United States, Canada, and 26 other countries belong to AMWA, a professional association for biomedical communicators of all types. Here in Indiana, we have about 200 members. Some members work in pharmaceutical, health care, or academic settings; others run free-lance businesses. We meet about four times a year, and in the summer we have a conference where we offer some of AMWA's popular continuing education courses.
